i knew bernie mac and sameul l. jackson were in Soul Men (coming out later this year), but i didn't know issac hayes was in it also. when i saw this pic on isaachayes.com, i couldn't help but think how eerie it is, given that bernie mac passed yesterday, isaac today, and...i'm just saying...i'm sending a special prayer up for samuel l. jackson tonight.

tyrone biggumscrackheads gone wild...have u seen it? OMG...just so sad...i can't even fake jacks. i watched it the other night and i laughed my ass off. but, i swear, i was very ashamed on the inside.
i didn't judge those people because i know there was something terrible that happened in their lives, or something that was missing, some type of void they tried to fill, that made them start this often deadly, always destructive habit. we've all had this happen to us, we just made a different choice in how we would handle it; a different coping mechanism. a few seconds in time and a critical decision is all that sets us apart...think about it.
in a fox news report, the producer of crackheads gone wild, daryl smith, claims he's just trying to show people what happens if you do drugs, mission accomplished. in the "documentary," it's stated that they're just trying to educate people, each time i heard that, i though to myself, "riiiight." i don't know what happened off camera, but i know that on camera, there was no information provided to the addicts on places they could go to get help, or any other type of resource offered to them.
just one question, is it even legal for them to get a release from people who are under the influence of a controlled substance?? how much did they get paid to appear on film?? what did they do with the money?? was any of the money made from the film donated to some time of recovery or drug rehabilitation program??

OMG! this has got to be one of THE most HIGHlarious shows on tv on earth in the world today! i don't think i can use enough exclamation marks in this post! it comes on FX, and there's a new season starting sept 18, but i've never seen it on tv. i watched every single episode on hulu.com...u must, must, must check it out!
